Seattle Divests $3B from Wells Fargo Bank for Financing Dakota Access Pipeline. Santa Monica May Do the Same!

On Tuesday, Santa Monica City Council will decide to look into divesting from Wells Fargo Bank due to its financing the Dakota Access Pipeline, which threatens the water rights, treaty rights, sacred lands and culture of the Standing Rock Sioux Nation and the climate we all share.  Seattle voted unanimously to divest just as the Army Corps of Engineers reversed itself and agreed to permit the completion of the pipeline.
Urge the Council to divest from Wells Fargo and honor our true climate protections.  Email the council today at:
