Even though the realities of climate change make the likelihood of droughts being more intense in the future, this season the rains in most of California are giving rise to new life. Following the wet winter, a wildflower superbloom colors deserts. Last week, Governor Brown lifted the drought emergency while emphasizing that water conservation must continue. We can take nothing for granted but can see how every day actually is Earth Day with the force of Nature renewing life.
