Rachel Carson’s breaking Silent Spring woke people up 55 years ago. On this Earth Day, the March for Science breaks the silence about how recklessly science and truth are ignored or twisted to deny climate change and other environmental and public health concerns. We need you to be a part of the March for Science, Sat., April 22, Pershing Square in downtown Los Angeles. The Science Expo is 9 – 4; the rally with speakers starts at 10; the march commences at 11. In his profound and compelling short video, Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson declares the importance of science in America, “And when you have people who don’t know much about science standing in denial of it and rising to power, that is a recipe for the complete dismantling of our informed democracy.”
