Putting people to work for the climate is one of the most meaningful climate actions we can take: it prepares a workforce that is needed and ready to address climate issues and implement solutions.

As a part of CASM’s CJC Nancy Sanchez and Mario Melgarejo have been working on two projects structured around their interests in sustainability by collecting data to document how to move forward. One of CASM's CJCs Nancy is conducted research focusing on the Disposable Food Ware Ordinance by collecting data based on restaurant chains/ food establishments within Santa Monica through deliveies. This study was done to indicate whether food establishments are following @cityofsantamonica Disposable Food Ware Ordinance which indicates that food ware must not be plastic.
