It also supports the City’s Climate Action & Adaptation Plan goal of carbon neutrality and the Sustainable City Plan goals around improving air quality for all. Today CASM members Nancy and Isis went to USC Annenberg Hall with  CASM Co-Chair and Executive Director, Laurene, to see Famed oceanographer Sylvia Earle and Los Angeles Times environment reporter Rosanna Xia join in conversation to discuss the state of the Pacific Ocean on the occasion of Earle’s residency with the Center for Climate Journalism and Communication and the publication of Xia’s book, California Against the Sea: Visions for Our Vanishing Coastline. Santa Monica Nature Enthusiasts, This week, we're highlighting the beautiful Clustered Tarweed (Deinandra fasciculata)! 🌼 The Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT), @ladotlivable , is partnering with Council District 11 to plan a network of four bikeways connecting Westside neighborhoods and adjacent cities. The bike routes will feature traffic calming measures to make them comfortable for riders of all ages and abilities. Look at this new event at USC! This past Saturday at the Pico Blvd Farmers Market CASM members Nancy and Mario informed people about @ladotlivable Westside Mobility Projects at the Pico Blvd Farmers market.
